Whew! whaddaweek.
First of all, we’d like to apologize to those fans, friends and others who’ve sent us emails over the past couple of weeks — we haven’t been getting them! Blarg! With the 2.0 website switching to a new server, they got lost in the shuffle until now. But fear not! We have access to them and should have responded to all of you by the close of the weekend.
On top of that bit of excitement, Jen’s been going full-steam on production this week (with our fantabulous intern Molly assisting), while Liz has been off filming with our buddies at Cake Alchemy for Season 3 of WETV’s “Amazing Wedding Cakes.” Where the hell did September go?!
Anyway, a promise is a promise — and we promised to keep you posted on our new products this week. Drumroll, please!
Pumpkin Pie Bar – ohhh, yes. Pie crust, pumpkin caramel ganache, and a soft creamy marshmallow, all covered in dark chocolate. Like the Pecan Pie Bar? Yeah. We have a hunch you’ll like this one too.
PB&J Bar – it’s back and even better than before! A light butter-cookie base with creamy peanut butter and our fresh handmade Pate de Fruit — Raspberry, this week. Coated in milk chocolate, for the kid in all of us.
Caramel Apples – just like you remember…only better. Crisp, sweet-tart Jonathan apples from the greenmarket, smothered in our signature Sea Salt Caramel. Or, if you get to the market early enough, you might be able to snag one with (gasp!) honeycomb crumbs on it. Supplies of these are limited. Just saying.
Old-Fashioned Peanut Brittle – You clamored for it; you got it. Our deliciously light and crunchy brittle is back! They’re called “classics” for a reason, people.
…plus more of our new Apple-Maple Lollipops, Guinness-Gingerbread Caramels, Hard Cider Caramels, and all your old favorites. We don’t care what the forecast is for tomorrow; we’ll be there! Come say hi and let us know what you think of our new sweets.
As always, we’re grateful to have such a loyal and vocal fan base. We love you New York Citayyy!
