Share the Love: Rachel Bossett
This is a somewhat unusual post, in that it’s about someone I’ve never met. We’d never even communicated by email until I emailed her last week, asking if I could feature her here. I know her from Instagram, and you’ll pretty quickly be able to see why I’m obsessed with her.
Her name is Rachel Bossett, and she’s a confectioner at Range in DC. Look at this beautiful bonbon work.

She also takes the time to write real, thoughtful accompaniments on what it means to be a chef, loving the work, history and science behind various pastry ingredients, how life is hard and shitty sometimes, and overcoming said hard and shitty patches.
All in all, just a 100% legitimate badass.
